Overview
Alongside performing as bassist for Dexters, I led the band’s full visual identity and creative direction. The project involved rebranding the band and building a cohesive visual language that could carry across album artwork, merchandise, posters and wider promotional material.
Creative Response
I developed the identity to reflect the raw energy, attitude and tone of the music, creating a system that felt distinctive while remaining flexible across both physical and digital outputs. This included designing the logo, album artwork, tour posters, merchandise and supporting marketing assets, ensuring that each element contributed to a recognisable and coherent band presence.
I also worked closely with Acid Jazz Records throughout production, shaping the visual material through to final manufacture. The aim was not just to create a set of standalone designs, but to build a stronger world around the band that could support both release campaigns and live presence.
The Outcome
The result was a cohesive band identity that translated consistently across record packaging, promotion and merchandise. By combining creative direction with practical production oversight, the project helped give Dexters a clearer and more ownable visual presence as a signed act.
