Created as a visual exhibition series exploring technology, innovation and future-focused thinking
Overview
Technology Season was an exhibition project created for Buro Happold to showcase a series of ideas, innovations and future-facing themes across the practice. The aim was to translate complex technical subjects into a more engaging physical experience, using visual storytelling to make the content more accessible, distinctive and thought-provoking.
Creative Response
I developed the exhibition as a cohesive visual system that combined editorial structure, illustration, photo visualisation and large-format print design. The approach focused on giving each board enough clarity to communicate its subject individually, while also building a stronger sense of rhythm and consistency across the exhibition as a whole.
Rather than treating the content as a set of static technical panels, the design aimed to create a more immersive and visually engaging experience that could hold attention, guide the viewer and bring a stronger sense of identity to the wider season.
The Outcome
The result was a coherent exhibition series that gave complex technology themes a clearer and more compelling public-facing presence. By combining structure, atmosphere and visual consistency, the project helped turn specialist content into a more engaging spatial experience.
